Learning Arabic: script, pronunciation and language variety

Choosing a language focus is part of planning an Arabic course. Modern Standard Arabic provides a shared foundation for reading, writing and formal communication, while regional varieties are important in everyday speech. The intended use should therefore be clarified before starting.

Build the script systematically

Arabic is written from right to left, and letters change form according to their position. A step-by-step approach connects each letter with its sound and simple words so that reading and writing develop together.

Review levels A1-C2

Do not postpone listening and speaking

Some Arabic sounds do not exist in English or German. Short listening examples, conscious articulation and simple dialogues help learners become understandable early. Small groups allow more repetition and direct correction.
